Welcome to Fanaye Job OS (referred to as the "Platform," "we," "us," or "our"). At Fanaye, we believe that your professional journey is a story. To facilitate that story, we transform unstructured career documents (like PDF resumes or LinkedIn profiles) into an intelligent, dynamic, and structured professional identity.

This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, process, and protect your personal information when you use our platform. By accessing or using Fanaye Job OS, you consent to the data collection and processing practices described in this policy.

Unlike traditional job boards, Fanaye Job OS does not merely store your resume. We create a dynamic Knowledge Base (KNOWLEDGE_BASE) representing your structured professional identity. We collect and process data in three distinct ways:

• Candidate Imports (CANDIDATE_IMPORT): Every time you upload a resume PDF, connect your LinkedIn, sync your GitHub repository, or add a portfolio link, we generate an import event. This traces the origin, date, and history of your skills and career history.
• Knowledge Snapshots (KNOWLEDGE_SNAPSHOT): Your career evolves. To maintain version control over your professional data and prevent information loss, the platform takes historical snapshots of your Knowledge Base whenever significant changes occur. This allows us to explain adjustments in your alignment scores over time.
• Intention vs. Capability (USER_PREFERENCES): We separate your capability (what you know) stored in your Knowledge Base from your intentions (what you want) stored in your Preferences (e.g., remote-only preference, target regions, salary targets).

We use artificial intelligence and machine learning models to provide deep matching capabilities:

• Alignment Records (ALIGNMENT_RECORD): When matching your profile to available jobs, our engine generates alignment records containing match scores, matched skills, detected gaps, and the AI models' evaluation logic. We store this intelligence to avoid repeating expensive AI processing runs.
• Generative Workflows: Using your Knowledge Base, preferences, and alignment records, we generate tailormade resumes and cover letters targeted to specific job postings (e.g., matching a DevOps role vs. a Frontend role).
• Continuous Matching: Background workers run matching tasks continuously on your behalf, prompting push or email notifications when high-alignment (e.g., 90%+) opportunities appear.

You maintain absolute ownership of your professional identity. Under this policy, you are entitled to:

• Review and manually edit any skill, project, or role parsed into your Knowledge Base.
• Delete historical Knowledge Snapshots that no longer represent your career.
• Request permanent deletion of your User Profile (USER), authentication accounts (AUTH_ACCOUNT), and all associated datasets.
• Opt-out of continuous background matching and notifications.

For users utilizing our premium generation services, we maintain a secure Wallet (WALLET) associated with their account.

We store transactional metadata (WALLET_TRANSACTION) tracking resume credits, cover letter credits, and AI resource consumption. We do not store raw credit card numbers or banking passwords on our systems; all payments are processed securely through our verified PCI-compliant payment gateways.

We implement high-grade organizational and technical measures to secure your data. This includes:

• Encryption of all data in transit (via SSL/TLS) and at rest (in our databases).
• Separation of authentication mechanisms (AUTH_ACCOUNT, supporting social Google/GitHub/Microsoft logins) from your core user profiles.
• Strict API tokens and cookie policies to prevent cross-site scripting (XSS) and cross-site request forgery (CSRF).
